Air conditioning equipment has improved dramatically in recent years, and today's best systems offer more even comfort combined with reduced energy consumption and environmentally friendly refrigerant.

Installations & Upgrades

Shattuck Oil helps customers improve their comfort, reduce electricity consumption and reduce harmful emissions with advanced central air conditioning systems. We offer an excellent equipment selection, including mini-spit systems that are ideal for retrofits in homes with no ductwork. Unlike many installers, we adhere to the manufacturer's specifications, so your system achieves optimal performance. We use advanced diagnostics to ensure that cooling is balanced from room to room.

If you are interested in installing air conditioning or upgrading an existing system, please call us or contact us online.

Retrofits

If your home has no air conditioning or you are relying on window air conditioners, you can improve your comfort and aesthetics with a new central air conditioning system, even if your home has no ductwork. Shattuck Oil installs mini-split systems that distribute cool air through wall units with no ductwork. In a mini-split system, the compressor is located outdoors, connected by a conduit housing tubing and power cable to one or more indoor handling units.

Mini-splits are less disruptive to install than traditional systems, because the conduit generally requires only a 3-inch hole in the wall. They can be installed with a thermostat for each indoor unit, enabling you to save energy by cooling only the rooms you are using. Mini-splits also have none of the energy loss that can occur as conditioned air travels through large ducts.

There are tradeoffs between traditional systems and mini-splits. Mini-splits are more expensive, and they use wall-mounted air-handling units that are more conspicuous than traditional registers.

To find out whether a mini split system is right for your home or building, please call us or contact us online.

Ductwork

Shattuck Oil installs custom ductwork for central air conditioning and forced-air heating systems. We design the duct system to reach every room with minimal disruption, then install the ductwork with close attention to every detail. We test every airway with advanced diagnostic tools to ensure consistent airflow. We also inspect and repair existing systems.
